CtrlB Secures Seed Funding And Sets Out To Redefine Observability For Modern Engineering Teams

The observability space is undergoing a shift, and CtrlB has positioned itself right at the centre of this transformation. The company has raised 2.5 million dollars in its Seed round led by Chiratae Ventures, with participation from Equirus, InnovateX Fund, Campus Fund and Point One Capital. The investment strengthens its goal of making large scale engineering and security data far faster and much more economical to analyse.

CtrlB has developed a unified data platform that focuses on solving a growing pain point. As modern systems grow more distributed, telemetry explodes and observability quickly becomes expensive, slow and operationally complex. CtrlB’s approach is built on an indexing and compression engine that enables high speed search across large datasets while cutting storage requirements to a fraction of what teams usually spend. Engineering teams can retain more telemetry, run richer queries and avoid the tradeoff between cost and visibility.

The fresh funding will help the company accelerate its R and D roadmap. It plans to strengthen its core technology, pursue enterprise certifications such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and expand its presence across India and the United States. The team is expected to grow to nearly sixty members with expertise across distributed systems, DevOps, solution architecture and US based sales.

The company is preparing a major platform upgrade that introduces a redesigned interface, richer dashboards and a correlation engine that simplifies troubleshooting. It also intends to patent its indexing technology and deepen relationships across cloud and DevOps ecosystems to support broader adoption.

CtrlB aims to serve more than fifty enterprise customers within the next eighteen months across sectors such as logistics, fintech, ecommerce and SaaS. Over time it plans to move into adjacent markets like APM and log analytics and eventually evolve into a full stack platform that blends security and observability under one unified architecture.

As telemetry volumes continue to climb, the need for powerful and cost efficient observability only becomes more urgent. CtrlB’s progress suggests that the next wave of observability innovation may come from teams that rethink data fundamentals rather than simply scaling existing models.
